Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Welder/Fitters with any level of welding experience to join our team. This role involves working on commercial construction sites and contributing to various welding tasks. You will take a weld test during the interview for arc, stick, and fluxcore welding and that will determine your pay rate. The role is in a shop environment manufacturing various steel products. The starting pay is between $20 and $25 an hour to start.
Responsibilities
- Layout steel according to shop drawings.
- Mark steel with AWS welding symbols before welding.
- Tack weld parts as per approved shop drawings.
- Weld steel following shop drawings and inspected fit-up piece marks.
Essential Skills
- Some exposure to the welding trade through trade school or on-the-job training.
- Ability to produce quality welds per specifications using processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and STUD.
- Reliable transportation to Berlin, NH.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial construction sites is a plus.
- Trade/Technical welding program experience.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core Arc welding.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a large shop with loud machinery operating at all times. The standard shift is from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend work available if desired.

This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
