Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $44$55 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing facility in Great Barrington, MA. This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours/week) where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication and swallowing outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments of residents speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy

Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team (nursing, OT, PT, dietary, etc.)

Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes

Educate residents and their families on therapy goals, strategies, and home exercise or communication plans
Qualifications:

Active MA SLP license (or appropriate state licensure/certification)

Prior SNF experience preferred but not required

Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to work effectively within a long-term care team-focused environment
