Position Overview:
We are seeking a Parts Manager to oversee our parts department operations at our Methuen, MA location. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with experience managing inventory, vendor relationships, and team workflow in a service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Order, receive, and maintain proper inventory levels of golf car parts and accessories
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely deliveries
- Oversee parts sales—both internal (service department support) and external (retail and wholesale customers)
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, invoices, and purchase orders
- Support service technicians by sourcing and supplying required parts
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, online, and by phone
- Monitor and control parts department expenses
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Submit and manage warranty claims efficiently.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload parts deliveries.
- Assist the service department when parts responsibilities are completed and additional help is needed
- Stock incoming inventory in appropriate locations accurately.
Qualifications:
- Strong inventory management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required
