Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a Massachusetts RN license for a 13-week day shift assignment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties.

- Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required one night per week and weekends based on staffing needs
- No floating or weekend shift requirements outside of on-call rotation
- Uses Omnicell, Meditech Expanse, and SBAR communication systems

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
- Meditech charting system experience required
- Community Hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, and Endoscopic procedures
- Skilled in professional OR competencies such as IV starts, specimen handling, cardiac monitoring, and Universal Protocol/Time Out procedures
- Experience with equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, Hana Table, and Steris systems

- Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical procedures and specialties
- Participate in floating rotations with facility staff in accordance with unit floating policies and appropriate orientation
- Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
- Minimize requests for time off, especially during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full weeks off
- First-time travelers may be considered if they have relevant OR experience
- Candidates within a 30-mile radius are accepted at the same pay rate
