Job Description

Locums Rheumatology Physician near Boston, Massachusetts - Flexible Clinic Sessions, Long-Term Coverage

Work a full-time outpatient rheumatology assignment with four-hour patient-facing sessions and an established group of rheumatology and orthopedic physicians.

Highlights:

Approximately 24 weeks of coverage with extension potential
Morning or afternoon clinic sessions
General rheumatology without an acute case focus
Two rheumatologists and more than 10 orthopedic physicians onsite

Practice & Cases:

In-person outpatient general rheumatology
Approximately 18 patients per day
No advanced practice provider coverage
Established rheumatology and orthopedic physician presence onsite

Schedule:

Six clinic sessions per week
Monday through Friday coverage
Four-hour patient-facing sessions
Rotating evening and 1 in 3 weekend call

Requirements:

Must be an MD or DO
Must be Board Certified in Rheumatology
Active Massachusetts medical license required
BLS and DEA required
