Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision and direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Deliver skilled OT interventions focused on ADL retraining, fine motor function, upper extremity rehabilitation, and functional independence
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or changes to the supervising OT
- Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and relevant clinical observations per facility and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programmes, and adaptive strategies
- Maintain productivity standards and billing compliance in line with facility expectations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient transitions and optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Active COTA certification and New Hampshire state licence (or compact/endorsement eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of COTA clinical experience; SNF/post-acute rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong documentation skills and ability to manage an assigned caseload under OT supervision
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
