Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Vatica Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to diagnose and formulate individualized treatment plans for patients facing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

  • Modifying treatment plans based on patient progress and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to ensure effective care.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare providers, community resources, and patient families, to create comprehensive discharge plans that reflect continuity of care.

  • Referring patients to external services, including community programs, support groups, and psychiatrists, fostering a holistic approach to mental health care.

  • Providing supportive interventions, such as crisis management and bereavement counseling, to address patients' urgent and ongoing needs.
  • \n

  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to clinical program standards and the Mental Health Practice Act.

  • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

  • Strong familiarity with community mental health resources to facilitate comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000, along with the following benefits:
