  • Unit: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) with ARU coverage

  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 35
  • \n

  • Weekend Hours: Every Saturday
  • \n

  • Required Certifications: American Heart Association, BLS
  • \n

  • Years of Experience: 1+
  • \n

  • Patient Population: General medicine with a predominant geriatric population
  • \n

  • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: General debility, cardiac, GI, respiratory, and orthopedic conditions
  • \n

Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Comfortable communicating directly with MDs and ancillary staff about discharge recommendations.
  • \n

  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: 1 year experience on Med/Surg is preferred as the individual will have to be independent following orientation.
  • \n

  • Personality Fit: Therapist should be able to effectively communicate with RNs and CNAs without issue. Small community hospital with easy-going staff.
  • \n
