Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Florence, MA, for the upcoming school year contract. This role involves working primarily with students at Crosby Elementary, serving pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-5 students.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' communication needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students within the classroom and in small group or individual settings.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably within a K-12 educational environment.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapeutic interventions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.

Location:Florence, Massachusetts Serving Crosby Elementary School (Pre-K through 5th Grade).
