Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Florence, MA, for the upcoming school year contract. This role involves working primarily with students at Crosby Elementary, serving pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-5 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students within the classroom and in small group or individual settings.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably within a K-12 educational environment.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
Location:Florence, Massachusetts Serving Crosby Elementary School (Pre-K through 5th Grade).
