Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple school sites in the Manchester, NH area as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant. This full-time contract role runs from September 3rd through June 17th, with opportunities for annual renewal and Extended School Year (ESY) placements. Enjoy a dependable Monday-Friday schedule, roughly 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., working with a well-established caseload of about 40 students.
Your experience in school-based or healthcare physical therapy will empower students to achieve greater functional mobility, independence, and participation in their education. Licensed Physical Therapists and PTAs are both encouraged to apply. Collaboration and communication will be key, as you'll travel between four school sites, joining a supportive team dedicated to student success.
What you'll need:
- Valid license as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to multiple school environments
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to fostering student growth
Key responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment goals
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions tailored to each child's plan
- Consult and collaborate with staff, teachers, and families on student progress
- Document services and progress clearly and accurately
- Travel between four local school buildings as required
