Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal candidates possess these qualifications and experiences:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License
- Previous experience with mental health/behavioral self-contained programs (preferred)
- Strong skills in case management, student advocacy, and collaborative teamwork
- Confidence with conducting formal evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Commitment to fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Ability to accommodate a caseload of approximately 10-16 students
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
- Conducting educational and behavioral assessments
- Preparing and maintaining student records, evaluation summaries, and progress reports
- Leading and participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Implementing evidence-based strategies for classroom management and behavioral support
- Partnering with families, staff, and mental health professionals to promote student growth
This full-time contract spans from September 1, 2026, to June 16, 2027, offering a weekly schedule of 32.5-35 hours during regular school hours (7:30 AM – 2:20 PM). You’ll thrive in a well-resourced environment with a manageable caseload, and play a crucial role in shaping student success.
