RESPONSIBILITIES

General responsibilities will include interacting with children and adults, demonstrating proper skating techniques, and performing various customer experience related duties.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Effectively uses customer service skills to control customer interactions.</li>
<li>Educates the public to the habits and attitudes of safe ice activities.</li>
<li>Accurately evaluates placements of students for skating instructions.</li>
<li>Prepares/completes program documents like attendance, recommendations, etc.</li>
<li>Enforcement of all rules regarding rink policies and operating procedures.</li>
<li>Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.</li>
<li>Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.</li>
<li>Responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the Program Supervisor on time.</li>
<li>Attends scheduled staff meetings.</li>
<li>Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.</li>
</ul>
This is a part-time position. Most FMC programs are held in the afternoon, evenings, and on weekends. Dates and time for programs may vary.
Requirements:
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience assisting or teaching skating classes is preferred.</li>
<li>Applicants must be able to ice skate proficiently. Figure skaters should have achieved and passed ISI Freestyle 4 or USFS Freeskate 4 and up. Hockey players should have participated in multiple years of formal league play.</li>
</ul>
Compensation: Pay based on experience and industry-related qualifications. Training rate $20-30 per hour based on instructor level. Base pay range upon completion of training $22-32 per hour for instructor-related work. Pay range for non-instructor-related work is $17-18 per hour based on instructor level.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.</li>
<li>Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.</li>
<li>Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.</li>
<li>Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate case histories of patients.</li>
<li>Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.</li>
<li>Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.</li>
<li>Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.</li>
<li>Patient chiropractic care and education</li>

Qualifications needed:

<li>4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college</li>
<li>A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college</li>
<li>Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE</li>
<li>A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV</li>
<li>Valid DC license in the applicable state</li>
<li>Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state</li>
