Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Inpatient Unit.

This position is full-time, 36 hours/weekly/day night rotation/every other weekend. 
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. </li>
<li>The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. </li>
<li>This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts. </li>

Requirements:
 
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.</li>
<li>Active admission to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar; multiple state bar admissions strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 to 7 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment, with increasing responsibility for complex matters.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing billable work and meeting billable hour requirements.</li>
<li>Substantive experience in mass tort and products liability litigation, including asbestos matters; experience serving in a national or coordinating counsel capacity is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multi-jurisdictional litigation and coordinate strategy among internal teams and external counsel.</li>
<li>Strong client service orientation with experience advising clients on nationwide litigation strategy, exposure, and risk.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, local counsel, and support staff.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Filevine or other document management systems preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and strategic clarity. </li>
<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure while exercising sound professional judgment.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continued personal and professional development.</li>

The firm’s expected salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. Actual salary will be determined based on education, experience, internal equity and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. The firm offers benefits including comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement savings, and paid time off and holidays.
