Position Title: Associate Attorney

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Build case defenses and trial themes autonomously</li>
<li>Support national trial and coordinating counsel team to manage litigation nationwide for large corporate clients </li>
<li>Analyze the application of state and federal case and regulatory law to the facts of cases for pre-trial motions and other submissions</li>
<li>Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters</li>
<li>Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties</li>
<li>Interview potential and preparing witnesses for testimony in litigation or before regulatory bodies </li>
<li>Take and defend lay, expert, and corporate representative depositions</li>
<li>Argue motions</li>
<li>Develop client relationships through oral and written communication</li>
<li>Draft pre-trial reports and performing risk analysis</li>
<li>Participate in mediations and/or court-mandated status, settlement conferences and hearings</li>
<li>Develop overall strategies for case resolution and Solve problems creatively </li>
<li>Identify, assign and supervise work for case paralegals</li>
<li>Interact and potentially managing outside co-defense counsel to negotiate global discovery strategies </li>
<li>Negotiate settlements with plaintiffs and other opposing parties</li>
<li>Participating in networking opportunities to develop client relationships</li>
<li>Demonstrate leadership in the local community through memberships in bar associations and other organizations</li>
<li>Develop oneself as a resource for other attorneys involved in the firm’s practice areas</li>
<li>Provide support and assistance to Shareholders, Partners, and Senior Counsel</li>
