An electronic component manufacturing is seeking a Distribution Coordinator for a 1st shift position in Ward Hill, MA. This company is known for its commitment to operational excellence and has a strong reputation in the manufacturing industry.
Shift of the Distribution Coordinator:
1st Shift (6:00 - 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate of the Distribution Coordinator:
$22.50/hr
Responsibilities of the Distribution Coordinator:
- Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies.
- Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records and rejecting unsatisfactory items.
- Lift heavy items and operate a forklift as needed.
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped and post weights and shipping charges.
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Qualifications of the Distribution Coordinator:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
- 1+ years of related experience in a similar role.
