Step into a collaborative and rewarding environment in a contract position supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This full-time role, running from August 2026 through November 2026, offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact over a 12-week assignment. The position is conveniently located near Derry, NH, with hours ranging from 32 to 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday.

Ideal applicants are passionate about helping young learners achieve greater independence and success in their school activities. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on providing essential therapeutic support within the school setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials required
  • Relevant experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Understanding of common challenges faced by elementary-aged students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans as needed in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead Occupational Therapist in providing direct and indirect therapy services
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with elementary students
  • Implement and track student goals alongside the therapy team
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic activities in the classroom
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Contribute to team meetings and student progress reviews
