This contract opportunity near Kingston, NH, is tailored for an adaptable and friendly Paraprofessional ready to work with students across multiple age groups (K–9th grade). Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on classroom support, individualized and small-group assistance, and 1-on-1 interventions for students spanning Kindergarten through 9th grade.
- Serve as a flexible “floating” paraprofessional, seamlessly transitioning between lower elementary, middle, and early high school classrooms to meet evolving daily needs.
- Develop positive, encouraging relationships with students of all ages while maintaining professionalism and patience.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and administrative teams to enhance classroom management, support lesson implementation, and foster a productive learning environment.
- Engage in school-wide activities, adapting to new tasks and schedules as determined by daily school operations. (Specific site details and daily structures will be discussed at the interview stage.)
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree, Paraprofessional Certification, or a passing Praxis Assessment preferred.
- Demonstrated comfort and experience working with multiple grade levels, especially K–9th grade, with the ability to transition fluidly between different age groups.
- High level of adaptability, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to remain calm, friendly, and organized in a lively, fast-paced setting.
