Qualifications

<li>Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher which involves placing forms to control where concrete is being poured and assisting with the spreading of the concrete as it is being poured to ensure that the finished results will be level.</li>
<li>Knowledge of stripping forms after concrete placement, and several other tasks as required.</li>
<li>He/she is responsible for carrying out tasks which may include cutting expansion joints, filling voids, repairing the surfaces of concretes, ensuring that surfaces are finished to ensure good looks and avoid slipping.</li>
<li>Experience in using a wide variety of tools when working on projects, such as saws, trowels, screeds, jointers and drills, etc.</li>
<li>Must be able to performs the function of regularly utilizing the use of power tools to restructure concrete and smooth it out, as well as cleaning and maintaining tools, and so on.</li>
<li>He/she is also responsible for finishing the top surfaces of concrete with the use of relevant tools and water to arrive at the desired texture.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:

FMC is looking for Lead Instructors to work under the general supervision of each program's Supervisor. These positions assist or instruct groups and related lessons for FMC learn to skate and/or learn to play programs. General responsibilities will include interacting with children and adults, demonstrating proper skating techniques, and performing various customer experience related duties.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cycle Group Fitness Instruction:

<li>Provides clear, consistent cueing to support proper form and adherence to cycle-specific best practices throughout the class.</li>
<li>Assists participants with appropriate bike setup and makes necessary adjustments to ensure a safe, comfortable, and effective ride.</li>
<li>Designs and adapts cycle classes to accommodate various fitness levels, age groups, and program needs (e.g teens, adults, specialty groups). </li>
<li>Selects motivating, appropriate music playlists that support class flow, rhythm, and participant engagement.</li>
<li>Develop safe, effective, and innovative Cycle classes providing appropriate modifications when necessary. </li>
<li>Lead and motivate participants in classes creating a FUN and safe environment for all members. </li>
<li>Record class participation numbers as requested and monitor capacity to ensure a positive member experience.</li>
<li>Act as wellness role model and leader as defined by the Group Fitness certification and scope of practice. </li>
<li>Promote the Group Fitness Schedule and other health and wellness offerings, encouraging member participation in JCC’s diverse array of programs. </li>
<li>Participate in staff surveys to provide essential feedback for organization improvement opportunities, growth, and development </li>
<li>Stay up to date regarding policies, procedures, and other important information shared via email, one-on-one meetings, and/or during trainings.</li>
<li>Participate in required staff trainings. </li>

Member Services/Relations:

<li>Build strong relationships with members while fostering a sense of community and engagement opportunities. </li>
<li>Listen to participant feedback/questions and connect members to appropriate staff for information and support. </li>
<li>Arrive at least 5 minutes before class to coordinate class set up and address participant questions and concerns. </li>
<li>End class on time to ensure a smooth transition between classes while encouraging participants to clean/adjust equipment and exit the studio. </li>
<li>Maintain a consistent teaching schedule and retain substitute instructors as needed. </li>
<li>Share key information with members, including but not limited, class schedule changes, upcoming events, workshops and fitness challenges. </li>

Cycle Studio Maintenance:

<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized studio, ensuring that room and equipment are ready for the next class. </li>
<li>Notify key staff of any studio/equipment issues and member feedback in a timely manner. </li>
<li>Follow the Staff Code of Conduct and adhere to emergency procedures and protocols. </li>

Requirements
Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma, College Degree preferred. CPR/AED Certified and a Minimum 6 months Cycling experience in teaching an exercise class in a group setting. Certification from an accredited organization in area of expertise, preferred: Spinning®, Schwinn® Indoor Cycling Certification, Stages Cycling® Instructor Certification, Keiser® Indoor Cycling Certification AND we accept NASM, ACE, AFAA.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the JCC’s discretion to meet minimum criteria.
Skills and Abilities:
· Remains up to date with continuing education requirements for certification renewal 
· Conducts classes safely including the ability to demonstrate exercises
