Responsibilities and Expectations of Summer Enrichment Coordinators:

<li>You and your team will plan and implement eight (8) weeks of fun, memorable, enriching summer daytime activities using our summer learning objectives for youth living in low income housing.
<ul>
<li>The activities you hold will happen in many locations: on-site (in communities where youth live), off-site (local parks, libraries, etc.), and more extensive field trips.</li>
<li>Our summer curriculum will guide you to plan activities based on four main objectives: Healthy Minds/Healthy Bodies, Problem Solvers, Artists and Creators, and Motivated Readers.</li>
<li>You will get to know each individual youth who participates in your day camp group, and incorporate their interests and ideas into your daily activities.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>You will work with your team to plan and lead field trips out of the community on a regular basis, at least once weekly.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Teamwork and Communication:
<ul>
<li>This role involves high levels of teamwork, creativity, and interpersonal communication.</li>
<li>You will be expected to communicate regularly with your co-service members, your supervisor, caregivers of youth in the program, and community members.</li>
<li>You may also engage with organizations who provide lunch and offer other necessary or desired resources to your service site.</li>

<li>You will likely engage with and support our survey staff throughout the summer, who are surveying youth as a part of our annual internal evaluations.</li>

<li>You will develop skills in youth engagement, positive behavior management, adaptability, problem solving, and community outreach.</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>Summer Enrichment Coordinators are enrolled as AmeriCorps members (see here for more information) and receive a living stipend. To be an AmeriCorps member you MUST be 17 years or older, and be a US Citizen, US National, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien.</li>

Compensation and Term:

Work environment: This position operates in multiple spaces. The spaces included are primarily an indoor/outdoor environment with active children, within the housing communities we serve, in public/field trip spaces in the local area, and occasionally in a workplace environment for planning and meetings. You may also be visiting our rustic Camp DREAM. The role also utilizes equipment characteristic of an outdoor and indoor youth day camp (pop-up shade canopies/tents, hand tools, activity supplies, food preparation equipment, storage spaces and sports equipment/toys). This role routinely uses computers, as well as phones and printers for communications and activity planning. During the summer, conditions will be warm and activities will often be held outdoors.

Job Summary
 Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes. </li>
<li>Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments. </li>
<li>Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area. </li>
<li>Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards. </li>
<li>Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils. </li>
<li>Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards. </li>
<li>Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service. </li>
<li>Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments. </li>
<li>Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors. </li>
<li>Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines. </li>
<li>Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers. </li>
<li>Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process. </li>
<li>Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Serves food neatly and attractively per standard. </li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li>

Job Description Summary The Growing Tree is seeking a Full- TimeTeacher! We are a Center-based childcare and preschool that serves children aged 32 months through 5 years. We are currently working to expand our programming to offer a toddler room. We are hiring for a Preschool Teacher and a Teacher Assistant. Duties 
<ul>
<li>Know and follow CDD Child Care Licensing Regulations</li>
<li>Being responsible for the care and supervision of children.</li>
<li>Planning, preparing, and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Vermont Early Learning Standards/TSG</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean and organized classroom.</li>
<li>Healthy classroom management skills.</li>
<li>Develop positive relationships with children, co-workers, families, and external personnel. </li>
<li>Consistently come to work and be a positive team member. </li>
</ul>
 Requirements Have or be in the process of obtaining: Teacher- 
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 12-21 Credits in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR</li>
<li>At least an associate’s degree in the Early Childhood Education Field, OR</li>
<li>Childcare Development Specialist Certificate (Vermont Childcare Apprenticeship Program), OR,</li>
<li>A Child Development Associate credential (CDA)</li>
<li> </li>
</ul>
Assistant Teacher- 
<ul>
<li>Fundamentals within the first 12 months of employment.</li>
<li>Any addtional trainings are a plus. </li>
</ul>
And 
<ul>
<li>Must pass a criminal background check fingerprinting through the VT Child Care Development Division</li>
<li>Infant/Child First Aid CPR Certified or willing to take upon hire.</li>
<li>Completed Vermont Orientation, Mandated Reporter, and Medication Administration training.</li>
