The People &amp; Culture (P&amp;C) Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle at Rockland Federal Credit Union. This position provides high-quality administrative and coordination support across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and engagement initiatives, while helping uphold a strong, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration and Data Management

<li>Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical personnel records in compliance with data protection and financial services regulations.</li>
<li>Update and manage the HRIS, including employee changes, reporting, and audits.</li>
<li>Prepare HR reports and support data requests to inform people-related decision-making.</li>

Recruitment and Onboarding Support

<li>Process pre-employment checks (e.g., background checks, employment verification).</li>
<li>Prepare employment and onboarding documentation.</li>

Requirements

<li>Understanding data protection, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Exceptional administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable style.</li>
<li>High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion when handling sensitive information.</li>
