We are a multi-service community center that not only provides meals and shelter but also creates answers for thousands of women a year through wide-ranging support, housing, and education services. OPPORTUNITY
Rosie’s Place is looking for a Recovery Support Navigator to support the behavioral health team. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Recovery Support Navigator will play a crucial role in assisting guests with substance use disorders and helping them to access recovery systems and services. This position involves providing supported navigation, accompaniment, and service linkage while advocating on behalf of guests who face behavioral health challenges. The Navigator will offer short-term case management, stabilization support, and work collaboratively with community partners to promote recovery and self-advocacy. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Assist guests in accessing, navigating, and making appropriate referrals to substance abuse treatment, recovery-related, and other supportive services.</li>
<li>Accompany guests to appointments and services as needed, advocating for those experiencing behavioral health barriers to ensure they receive appropriate support.</li>
<li>Offer short-term case management, stabilization support, and facilitate stages of change work to empower guests, using a strength-based approach, in their recovery journey.</li>
<li>Assist guests in developing and implementing recovery plans and goals, promoting self-advocacy, and helping them identify and develop recovery skills.</li>
<li>Provide milieu coverage, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and intervene in guests’ crises and emergencies in a dignified and respectful manner.</li>
<li>Develop and facilitate support groups to foster peer support and skill-building and engage in relationship building to create trust and rapport with guests.</li>
<li>Utilize crisis intervention and conflict de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of guest interactions, progress, and service linkages, ensuring confidentiality of all guest information.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with internal programs and external community partners to ensure coordinated care, staying informed about community resources, public bene-fits, housing, and other services.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of knowledge about current guests, and participate in weekly supervision, program meetings, and monthly staff meetings.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.</li>

<li>Knowledge of multiple recovery pathways, including 12-step support groups, faith-based groups, harm reduction services, SMART Recovery, Life Ring, and providing di-rect service.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of recovery systems and services, particularly within the Boston area, and the ability to apply a strength-based approach in case management.</li>
<li>Proficiency in crisis intervention, conflict de-escalation techniques, and group facilita-tion, with a strong emphasis on relationship building.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The starting salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience.

WORK EXPECTATIONS

This position will require travel between Rosie’s Place facilities and community locations, including working directly with guests in a shelter environment. This position may require flexibility in hours and occasional evening or weekend shifts.

<li>Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure</li>
<li>Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants, ensuring equipment functions and supplies are available</li>
<li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care</li>
<li>Utilize data from surgical preference cards for the surgical procedure and surgeon</li>
<li>Position patients safely using approved devices to prevent injury and enable optimal surgical exposure</li>
<li>Actively participate in Universal Protocol and timeout to confirm patient identity, procedure, and surgical site</li>
<li>Handle and document specimens accurately to ensure diagnostic integrity</li>
<li>Provide post-surgical care coordination, including patient handoff to the recovery team</li>
