REPORTS TO: Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination
PURPOSE: To assist the Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination with providing exceptional quality care for the general wellbeing of the elderly residents that suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. To uphold the highest level of competency, knowledge, &amp; caring that separates the Rubin Home Assisted Living from other Assisted Livings.
STATUS: Hourly / Non-Exempt
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid Massachusetts CNA or HHA or higher grade of certification preferred.
· Must have good communication skills.
· Must be able to interact with residents and treat them with dignity and the highest level of respect.
· The ability the multi task and ability to properly judge and react to all situations present in a professional manner.
· Must complete 3 day orientation on Assisted Living and other required topics according to EOEA’s Assisted Living Regulation 651CMR section 12.07.
· Must complete a minimum of 15 hours per year of ongoing education and training.
GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Washes, folds and puts away the residents’ laundry towels and linens with care and accuracy.
· Performs daily general cleaning of the house, including picking up, cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and washing the floors. Cognizant of all odors and makes sure that all odors are eliminated in a timely manner.

We match you with clients within 20 miles of your home so you can work in your own community! Now hiring in Dover, Portsmouth, Somersworth, Exeter, Rye, Hampton, Seabrook, NH areas.
Daytime shifts range between 7 AM - 9 PM, any day of the week. Priority shifts available:

<li>11:30am-4:30pm Monday-Sunday in Exeter NH</li>
<li>8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm shifts are extremely popular!</li>
<li>Monday-Friday: Range of availability between 8AM - 5PM</li>
<li>Weekends: Range of availability between 8AM - 5PM</li>
</ul>
PAY:
<ul>
<li>PCA pay rate: $19/wkday, $21/wkend</li>
<li>LNA pay rate: $21/wkday, $23/wkend</li>
<li>Part-time: at least 20-hours/week commitment</li>
<li>Full-time: 40-hours/weekly available!</li>
<li>Overtime pay for 40+ hours &amp; holiday pay</li>
<li>Can you also pick up a Sat or Sun shift? Enjoy +$2 Weekend Pay!</li>

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist clients with 1 on 1 personal care and home management as instructed by and documented on the written plan of care.</li>
<li>Assist and facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal-care and hygiene, leisure activities and socialization.</li>
<li>Help local seniors at home with shopping and/or light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and companionship.</li>
<li>Always ensure client safety.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>A compassionate, warm, and accepting attitude toward people.</li>
<li>Ability to respect confidentiality of patients and families.</li>
<li>Compassionate, caring, and empathetic</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>
