Description of Role
This Sr. Manufacturing and Process Engineering role lives in the Manufacturing organization at Dephy, reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing. This Dephyer can expect to interface with Design Engineering, Marketing, External Contract Manufacturers, and our technician team in various capacities. They will ensure Manufacturing processes, materials, inputs (firmware, hardware, and software), and documentation meet both our internal quality and regulatory requirements. This candidate can expect to be hands-on, repairing units returned from the field, collecting data on failure causes (RCA,) and suggesting and implementing DFM/DFA or QA preventative measures. What you’ll do:

<li>Create, execute, and refine processes that ensure all customer products meet our internal performance, quality, and reliability goals</li>
<li>Drive measurable reliability improvements through detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other forms of failure analysis, driving effective resolution of design, product, and/or manufacturing issues.</li>
<li>Build and maintain process documentation, including FMEAs, RCAs, audit preparation materials, and quality records (internal and with our manufacturing partners).</li>
<li>Efficiently organize and oversee unit repair for field returns, collecting, analyzing, and sharing failure trends cross-functionally to drive down repair costs.</li>
<li>Support Product Development and give input into our Product &amp; Feature Pipeline.</li>

Job DescriptionAs a Press Operator, you will operate a flexographic printing press engaged in the production of printed products in a safe and efficient manner. This includes the set-up of plates, dies, inks, and coatings as specified in the work ticket. As a press operator, you will also load substrates onto the press and record all required production data into the shop floor data collection system. As needed, you will be required to mount or strip plates, make inks, wash up press components, and complete basic housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks.
