Job Description 
The Patent Paralegal provides support to a team of attorneys, prepares filings and documents, and monitors deadlines. Oversight from Senior Paralegal II, Paralegal Manager, AbbVie Counsel or other supervisory roles. Confirms accuracy of computer docket system and case files.</li>
<li>Independently review, draft and prepare documents for conducting the daily business of managing a patent&nbsp;portfolio and prosecuting patent filings aligned with attorney guidance.</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies in managing the patent portfolio. Process incoming patent office documents and correspondence from foreign counsel, prepare responses for attorney review and transmit to foreign associates and/or outside counsel. Obtains certified translations and priority documents.</li>
<li>Conduct searches and provide reports for patent portfolio analysis based on publicly available databases and internal docket system. Prepare and attend to legalization of assignments and power of attorney documents; ensures formality requirements are met for each patent case. <li>Provide training and coverage, as needed, for IP prosecution matters to other paralegals.</li>

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a strategic contracts or corporate attorney experienced in the clinical contracting space to drive our clinical contracting efforts. This role will be responsible for spearheading negotiation of clinical site agreements, MSAs with clinical CROs and other clinical stage service providers, and other contracts in support of clinical studies, both directly and with the support of external counsel. This is a key position for advancing our clinical studies, and in-house contracting experience collaborating cross-functionally to drive contracts to execution on timelines that support business goals is imperative. 
 
Responsibilities:

<li>Act as the primary legal contact for the Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Translational teams regarding clinical trial-associated contracts. </li>

Requirements:

<li>JD and 5+ years in house contracts or general corporate experience in a biotech or pharma setting.</li>
<li>At least 3+ years clinical contracting experience, either directly negotiating clinical contracts or managing clinical contracting as part of a broader role and serving as an escalation point. </li>
<li>Strong understanding of the key provisions of clinical contracts.</li>
<li>Ability to produce high quality redlines of clinical contracts with minimal oversight on short turnaround times.</li>
<li>Experience managing external counsel. </li>
<li>Experience collaborating cross-functionally with key functions and external collaborators, including Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Finance, and clinical CROs. </li>
<li>Collaborative, business-minded approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Experience with phase I trials at an early-stage biotech is strongly preferred. </li>
<li>Some knowledge of regulatory law is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with discovery-phase research and CMC contracts is a plus. </li>

Summary of role:
We are seeking a Director, Commercial Contracts who will lead the strategic vision of the Lantheus Commercial Contracts. Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

<li>Responsible to setting the Strategic vision of the Lantheus commercial contracting development process.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains commercial contracting templates, which are adaptable to evolving business needs.</li>

<li>Regularly reviews terms and conditions of existing agreements and related data and processes as needed to ensure key contract provisions are being appropriately managed. </li>
<li>Prepares, reviews, and responds to RFP’s and RFI’s from Customers. This includes gathering all necessary data and forms, updating required documentation, acquiring appropriate approvals, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Ability to work under strict deadlines, respond accurately and within company guidelines.</li>
<li>Coordinates implementation of terms and conditions (pricing and rebates) with Commercial Administration. Educates Commercial Administration team on contract details. Performs regular reviews of system price files to ensure accuracy. </li>
<li>With the legal team creates, drafts, and coordinates communication with customers relating to terms of agreements. This includes annual price letters, termination letters, extensions, and renewals.</li>
<li>Supports Sales Management by performing regular and ad-hoc data gathering/reporting regarding current contract effectiveness, ASP, customer purchasing patterns and other KPIs. May perform projects related to customer’s purchasing data and contracting as directed by management. Assist in the preparation of Pricing Committee Team meetings.</li>
<li>Maintains current knowledge of, and ensure all work activities are conducted in, compliance with the full range of related internal and external systems, technology, regulatory requirements and related policies and procedures.</li>
