Job Overview:
Pay: $22.00-$35.00(1st & 2nd Shift)
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. The ideal candidate has experience in CNC operations, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications

Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts

Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy

Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process

Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

Monitor part quality and ensure all components meet specifications

Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant workspace

Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
Requirements:
-
2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
-
Experience with Trumpf CNC equipment preferred

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings

Strong basic math skills and attention to detail

Experience operating material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
