Seasonal Rink Attendant – Seasonal Rink Monitor

SEASONAL RINK ATTENDANT - SEASONAL RINK MONITOR Parks & Recreation Department Town of Hartford, Vermont The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking qualified candidates to join the Parks & Recreation Ice Rink Operations, performing a variety of rink duties centered around a very dynamic, diverse Nationally Accredited Parks & Recreation Agency. The Rink Attendant performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance and operations of the facility, as well as resurfacing the ice with the Zamboni. The Seasonal Rink Monitor will assist the rink crew with public skating, events and games. Preferred qualification includes: a high school education plus two years of relevant work experience, or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Positions require evening and weekend hours. A valid Vermont driver's license is required. Ideal candidates should have a general understanding of facility maintenance care and practices. The Rink Attendant ($14.42 to $20.00 per-hour) and Rink Monitor ($14.42 to $18.00 per-hour) are seasonal, non-benefited, part-time up to 20 hours per-week positions.
