Assignment Details – RN Pediatrics (Days) – Pittsfield, MA\nSpecialty: Pediatrics (Non-ICU, General Pediatric Unit)\n\nPatient Ratio: 1:3\n\nUnit Size: 3 beds\n\nFacility Type: Small community hospital (Not a PICU)\n\nShift: Days\n\nOrientation: 8 hours (non-billable)\n\nOT & Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x\n\nCharge, Call, Call-Back: Not applicable\n\nImportant Notes\nThis is a very small unit—call-outs are not allowed as they will shut down the unit and directly affect patient care.\n👉 Only submit your most dependable and reliable travelers.\n\nRequested Time Off (RTO) must be included and verified at the time of submission.\n❌ No post-upload RTO will be approved.\n✅ Maximum of 3 RTO days accepted—less is preferred.\n\nLocal travelers (residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered.\n\nAdditional Unit Details\nNo second nurse scheduled—nurses must be confident working independently.\n\nBackup available from Family Birthplace staff, respiratory therapists, and IV therapists.\n\nTravelers are equipped with panic-button security badges for emergencies.\n\nUnit supports family-centered care with options for parents to "room in."\n\nAmenities include in-room games, videos, and a playroom for non-contagious pediatric patients.\n\nPlease ensure all required documents and information are submitted accurately and completely to avoid delays in consideration.\n\nThank you for your attention and compliance!\n— BHS Compliance Team / AHSA Coordination\n\n\nApply Now!!\n\n
