Savvy Staffing is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Franklin, MA.


1st and 2nd shift available!


This is a hands-on warehouse position supporting work order picking, kitting, shipping, inventory control, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Review work orders and identify required materials and quantities
  • Pick and verify materials using RF scanners, barcodes, and inventory systems
  • Assemble and stage materials for production and shipment
  • Record inventory transactions accurately
  • Report inventory discrepancies and maintain stock accuracy
  • Return unused materials to inventory and maintain an organized work area


Shipping

  • Prepare, package, and ship orders according to customer requirements
  • Select appropriate packaging materials and methods
  • Coordinate parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments
  • Verify order accuracy before shipment
  • Track shipments and assist with delivery issue resolution


Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Monitor inventory levels and warehouse supplies
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout
  • Complete inventory transactions within warehouse management systems


Teamwork & Safety

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Support warehouse operations as needed and assist team members
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order-picking experience preferred
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety practices


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment


Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and warehouse setting
  • Required use of appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and eye protection
