Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, accurately diagnosing and evaluating patient status using recognized clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- Create tailored plans of care by considering cultural diversity and specific patient needs, ensuring the design of a comprehensive and effective treatment strategy.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, implementing interventions and strategies that align with their mental health diagnosis, documenting all facets of care in accordance with health regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with patients and their support networks to develop clear treatment objectives and action plans, ensuring shared understanding and adherence to care theories.
- Facilitate connections with additional treatment resources and providers, acting as a liaison throughout the patient’s journey to ensure comprehensive support.
- Educate and mentor students, interns, and volunteers in the field of social work, passing on valuable insights and fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
- Engage in peer-to-peer evaluations, clinical collaboration, and auditing under the guidance of clinical supervisors to reinforce team efficacy and personal development.
