Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, high-producing Staffing Consultant specializing in Engineering, Technology, or Advanced Manufacturing recruitment to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be a core production driver capable of hitting the ground running from day one. You will take immediate ownership of sourcing, screening, and closing candidates on active customer requisitions while leveraging your candidate network and market intelligence to uncover lead generation opportunities for our business development team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions across Engineering, Tech, and Advanced Manufacturing verticals.
Efficiently balance high-volume placement demands with highly technical, specialized search requisitions.
Proactively source active and passive talent utilizing advanced search strategies, ATS tools, job boards, professional associations, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Screen, qualify, and interview candidates to ensure accurate alignment of technical proficiencies, compensation expectations, and client culture.
Identify hiring trends, market shifts, and prospective business opportunities during candidate conversations to generate warm sales leads for our account executives.
Prepare candidates for client interviews, coordinate scheduling, extend offers, and facilitate smooth onboarding transitions.
Maintain rigorous data hygiene and documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (Avionté).
Actively contribute to a positive, supportive, and driven team environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years of dedicated agency staffing and recruitment experience specifically within Technical, Engineering, or Advanced Manufacturing disciplines.
Demonstrated track record of consistent production, with proven success handling both high-volume orders and specialized technical searches.
Strong market knowledge of Massachusetts manufacturing, engineering, and technology ecosystems.
Lead-generation mindset: Natural ability to gather competitive market intelligence and identify new client opportunities through everyday candidate interactions.
ATS proficiency: Hands-on experience working in modern recruitment databases and ATS platforms (Avionté experience is a plus).
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills: Ability to present technical talent effectively to internal account managers and external client leaders.
