Offset Press Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our printing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing presses, ensuring high-quality production and meeting deadlines. This will be for 2nd shift ( M-F 3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (M-F 11pm-7am).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate offset printing presses, including 2-color and 4-color presses.
- Monitor press operations to ensure quality output and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of printing presses to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage plate registration and ink fountain adjustments for precise printing results.
- Inspect printed materials for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of jobs and effective workflow.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an Offset Press Operator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of offset printing processes and equipment, (Ryobi 520 a plus - not required).
- Familiarity with 2-color and 4-color printing techniques.
- Ability to perform maintenance and lubrication on printing equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Open to training on 1st shift until fully trained.
