Job Description
The maintenance technician is responsible to safely assist in the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department. This involves performing periodic inspections of equipment and machinery as required and carrying out repairs and maintenance of the building, equipment, and machinery. This position will perform preventative maintenance and assist with the preventative maintenance performed by others.
All tools/tool cart provided
On the job training and work instructions provided
Qualifications required:
<ul>
<li>Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>General maintenance skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of PLC’s a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of setting up Camera’s a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems</li>
<li>Electrical background a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of heat sealing process a plus</li>
</ul>
Essential functions and responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Routine machine and equipment maintenance and repair</li>
<li>Product changeovers as needed</li>
<li>General building maintenance</li>
<li>Preventive maintenance</li>
<li>Notify lead of needed extended repairs and or spare parts</li>
<li>Completion of all pertinent maintenance paperwork</li>
