Position Overview:

As the Quality Technician, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across our organization. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing Lean methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our teams. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to address quality issues in a timely manner.
• Perform training sessions with inspectors.
• Manage the Material Review Board process.
• Maintain calibration system.
• Perform internal audits.
• Generate and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in new design process.
• Generate AS9102 FAIRs.
• Support 3rd party audits of quality system as needed.

Qualifications:

• An associate degree or certification in quality control or a related field, can be beneficial.
• 4-6 years of experience in quality control or a related field is required.
• Experience with quality assurance processes, inspections, and data analysis.
• Knowledge and experience with ISO/QS standards.
• Knowledge and experience with LEAN, and 8D tools.
• Experience in internal auditing.
• Excellent organizational skills.
