TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support local delivery operations based in Chelsea, MA.

This temp-to-perm position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Drivers will operate a 26ft refrigerated box truck delivering high-quality produce, specialty foods, meats, dairy, and chef-prepped Fresh Cuts to commercial businesses, restaurants, schools, office buildings, and markets.

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Details:
\n\n
- \n\t
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday schedule; typically a 5-day work week with 1 day off midweek, with occasional 6-day work weeks\n\t
- Start Time: 5:00 AM\n\t
- Average Shift: 10-hour days\n\t
- Pay: $20/hr; overtime after 40 hours\n\t
- Bonus: Eligible for weekly safety/attendance bonus upon conversion\n\t
- Route Type: Local\n\t
- Freight / Load Type: Refrigerated food products including produce, specialty foods, meats, dairy, and prepared Fresh Cuts\n\t
- Delivery Area: CT, MA, RI, including Cape Cod, Portland, and surrounding areas as needed\n\t
- Equipment: 26ft refrigerated box truck\n\t
- Handling: Driver assist; deliveries completed using a hand cart or pallet jack. Drivers may be required to go up and down stairs with product\n

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
\n\n
- \n\t
- License: Non-CDL\n\t
- Experience: 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable box truck driving experience\n\t
- Equipment Experience: 26ft box truck experience preferred\n\t
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years\n\t
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements, as applicable\n

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Responsibilities:
\n\n
- \n\t
- Safely operate a 26ft refrigerated box truck on local delivery routes\n\t
- Transport refrigerated food products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards\n\t
- Deliver to commercial businesses, restaurants, schools, office buildings, and markets\n\t
- Perform required handling tasks using a hand cart or pallet jack\n\t
- Move product up and down stairs when required\n\t
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections\n\t
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork\n\t
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations\n\t
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing stairs, and moving product during deliveries\n
