We are looking for a dedicated Wastewater Treatment Operator responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system. The role involves assisting in process solution maintenance, performing batch treatment activities associated with spent process solutions, and supporting lab-related activities when required.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system on a daily basis.
- Assist in maintaining process solutions.
- Perform batch treatment activities for spent process solutions.
- Support lab-related activities as needed.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Minimum Grade 3L License in wastewater treatment operations.
- 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment.
- Proficiency in wastewater, water treatment, and operations maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in metal finishing is preferred.
- Basic understanding of chemistry.
- Knowledge of atomic absorption techniques is preferred.
- Experience in titration analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of chemicals used in wastewater treatment.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Work Environment
This full-time position operates from Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with alternating Saturdays from 6:00am to 11:00am, depending on production needs. The work involves using a variety of technologies and equipment within a structured industrial setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $48.00/hr.
