  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems; ISO/IEC 17025 experience is a plus.

Job Description:Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality, sustaining engineering, manufacturing operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure products and processes consistently meet customer expectations while maintaining compliance with company quality standards.The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong engineering background who enjoys working cross-functionally to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Investigate manufacturing and product quality issues, perform root cause analysis, implement CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support sustaining engineering activities by analyzing product performance, resolving manufacturing issues, and improving existing products.
  • Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, process validation, and production readiness.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns, investigate nonconformances, and improve overall product quality.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits while developing and maintaining quality documentation, inspection plans, and work instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 17025, laboratory quality systems, calibration, CQE, Lean, or Six Sigma is preferred.
