Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our production machinery running at peak performance. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production by ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.


Starting Rate: $23.00/Hr

Schedule: 1st & 2nd shifts (must have ability to train on 1st shift)


Mold Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and auxiliary equipment using schematics, meters, and technical documentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as specified by OEM guidelines.
  • Diagnose issues to the component level, including pumps, valves, and sensors.
  • Support system monitoring, debugging, and machine-level adjustments.
  • Wire and label controllers and maintain accurate documentation for all equipment and programs.
  • Change dies and ensure machinery is set up according to production schedules.
  • Maintain open communication with the Maintenance Manager and production teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and process documentation efforts.
  • Perform occasional building maintenance as needed.


Mold Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field OR 5+ years of hands-on machinery maintenance experience.
  • Strong understanding of plastics machinery, auxiliary equipment, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working independently.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP experience (IQMS preferred).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
