We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Essex, Massachusetts. This is a Contract to permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting expertise to manage financial operations efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment tracking.

• Oversee payroll processing to guarantee employees are compensated accurately and on time.

• Handle month-end close procedures, preparing reports and ensuring all accounts are balanced.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

• Address and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.

• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and month-end closing procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
