Job Description

Demoulas Super Markets, Inc., operating under the Market Basket and MB Spirits banners, is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Payroll Systems Administrator to join our team in Andover, MA.

In this role, you will serve as the primary functional owner and subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Payroll, supporting the stability, configuration, performance, and continuous improvement of our Payroll application. You’ll work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, support integrations, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The Oracle HCM Payroll Systems Administrator may at times work with additional HCM modules outside of Payroll, based on areas of expertise and/or business needs.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the functional owner and SME for Oracle HCM Payroll, including configuration, production support, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements.
Support weekly payroll processing and resolve issues involving payroll flows, integrations, interfaces, extracts, and system configuration.
Lead resolution of critical payroll system issues in partnership with Payroll, HR, Finance, and external support partners.
Maintain configurations and controls that support accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Support integrations and data exchanges with external vendors and financial systems.
Identify and implement workflow improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
Support annual and recurring payroll activities, including year-end reconciliation, reporting validation, and system updates.
Develop documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users.
Participate in an on-call rotation during critical payroll processing periods.

What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Oracle HCM Cloud, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Payroll.
Experience with payroll configuration, processing, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.
Experience with integrations, data flows, vendor file exchanges, Payroll flow patterns, and Fast Formulas.
Experience with Oracle Time and Labor and/or Absence is preferred.
Understanding of payroll compliance, tax reporting, regulatory filings, and year-end processing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive payroll environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

This is an on-site position in Andover, Massachusetts. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during critical payroll cycles, along with participation in an on-call rotation.
