Currently Seeking a Mattress Tape Edge Operator for a full-time permanent position in Webster, MA.
Responsibilities of Mattress Tape Edge Operator:
-Set-up and operate tape edge machine
-monitor machines and make adjustments as needed
-Align and stitch panels and borders accurately
-Inspect stitching and finished products to ensure quality standards are met consistently
-complete routine maintenance tasks
-Identify and report any defects and discrepancies
-work with team member to complete tasks and meet daily targets
-perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Mattress Tape Edge Operator:
-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
-Previous tape edge operation or industrial sewing machine operation experience
-Experience in mattress industry preferred
-Past machine operation experience
-Superior attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
-Able to lift up to 50lbs
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Bi-lingual a plus
-Ability read and understand technical instructions
Hours: 3:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00/hr
