General Manager of Food Services (K-12) - Holyoke, MA

We are seeking a General Manager of Food Services - Child Nutrition role supporting Holyoke Public Schools (Holyoke, MA).

  • You will be a strategic partner connecting with a neighboring large K-12 district innovating strategies aimed at improving the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of the Holyoke Food Service Program, while positioning personal growth opportunities within the Western Massachusetts region.

Desired Qualifications:
Candidates must have strong financial acumen, USDA / National School Lunch Program experience in a K-12 district setting, and experience leading a larger operation with multiple direct reports, including union/CBA exposure and frontline staff management.

Scope:
$5M account, 4 managers reporting in, and roughly 60–70 union frontline employees. This person will be hands-on, high energy, and accountable for compliance, weekly financial performance, school visits, quality and safety across multiple programs (breakfast/lunch, fresh fruit & vegetable, CACFP, centralized feeding, a la carte, and special functions catering).

$5,000 Sign-on bonus and retention bonus available. Benefits start day one.

Interview process:
Online panel interview, followed by an onsite visit, then a final online interview with the client.
