Position Summary
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating a fun, welcoming experience for every guest. As a Server at Shaking Crab, you’ll be the face of our restaurant—guiding guests through our menu, delivering attentive service, and ensuring every visit is memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere
- Guide guests through the menu, including seafood boils, sauces, and spice levels
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks quickly and ensure accuracy and presentation
- Check in with guests regularly to anticipate needs and provide refills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused attitude
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
