We are currently seeking a Senior Corporate Recruiter with deep industry knowledge and a strong network within the MEP engineering industry to lead and manage full cycle recruiting for senior level technical, management and leadership roles. This role focuses on sourcing and placing top talent for key strategic roles throughout the company. We prefer candidates to be located in our Boston office (Hybrid), but we will consider remote positions for exceptional candidates. Limited travel may be required.
Some of your responsibilities include the following:
- Manage full cycle recruiting for senior technical engineers, senior project managers, group leaders and department heads in the MEP industry.
- Partner with senior management to assess hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop targeted job descriptions and hiring strategies.
- Source exceptional candidates through multiple channels, including direct outreach, job boards, social media, industry events, employee referrals, and networking.
- Screen, interview, evaluate candidates, providing detailed assessments to hiring managers and senior management
- Build and maintain a pipeline of top tier talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Vanderweil’s values and culture with professionalism.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 12+ years of recruiting experience in the MEP or AEC industry, with expertise in understanding engineering roles and technical requirements.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing senior-level talent in competitive markets.
- Extensive network in the MEP engineering industry.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong decision making, problem solving and strategic thinking ability
- High energy and passion with a results driven mindset.
