The Shipping & Receiving Lead manages day-to-day operations of shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining inventory control to support smooth supply chain activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and distribution of materials
- Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Coordinate with logistics providers and internal departments to schedule shipments and deliveries
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition
- Maintain accurate inventory records and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in warehouse operations
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce errors
- Prepare shipping documentation and reports.
