Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing materials and supply chain activities to ensure production and business objectives are met efficiently and reliably. The position focuses on materials planning, inventory control, supplier coordination, and system accuracy to support operational performance, delivery reliability, and scalable growth.
The Supply Chain Manager plays a key role in balancing material availability, cost control, and inventory optimization while driving continuous improvement across supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Planning & Systems Management
- Manage planning systems to support accurate demand planning and material execution
- Maintain data integrity across bills of materials, lead times, safety stock, and planning parameters
- Translate production schedules into actionable material plans
- Identify and resolve material constraints and shortages proactively
Inventory Control
- Establish and maintain inventory control practices that support production while optimizing working capital
- Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Monitor inventory performance, including turns and material flow
- Develop and maintain inventory-related metrics and reporting
Supplier & Inventory Programs
- Implement and manage supplier inventory programs to improve availability and responsiveness
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve service levels and lead times
- Monitor supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and inventory effectiveness
- Support sourcing and supplier development initiatives
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and develop supply chain and materials personnel
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, engineering, and finance
- Support capacity planning and growth-related initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Several years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials planning, or manufacturing operations
- Strong working knowledge of planning and inventory systems
- Experience managing inventory control processes and supplier programs
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead process improvements
