Salary: $72,000–$82,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Summary:

As the Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team, overseeing all culinary operations, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor. You’ll play a vital role in upholding our culinary vision, mentoring staff, and driving innovation in the kitchen while maintaining efficiency and consistency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the entire back-of-house team
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus, daily specials, and event offerings
  • Ensure consistent execution of all dishes with attention to taste, presentation, and timing
  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage food and labor costs, kitchen scheduling, and inventory control
  • Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and purveyors
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote growth and accountability
  • Collaborate with ownership and FOH management to uphold the restaurant’s vision and guest experience standards
  • Respond to guest feedback and adjust execution or menu items as needed
  • Ensure a positive and professional kitchen culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant
  • Expertise across all kitchen stations (sauté, grill, pantry, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A passion for quality, innovation, and using local, seasonal ingredients
  • Proven track record of managing food cost, labor, and kitchen operations efficiently
  • Culinary degree or formal training is preferred but not required

Schedule:
