Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00–$24.00 per hour + $2.75 shift differentialShift: 3rd shift, M-F 11-7AM plus $2.75 shift differential, Monday–Friday 3rd shift 11pm–7am. Must be willing to work overtime, 1 to 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at least 1–2 times a month.Why you should apply to be a Machine Operator:

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Reading production schedules to determine machine changeovers and runs
- Ensuring sufficient inventory for production and starting/stopping machines using the control panel
- Aligning and fastening machine parts like rollers and blades using hand tools
- Threading or feeding film through rollers and adjusting machine settings such as temperature, speed, and flow rate
- Observing machine and product during operation to detect defects, making necessary adjustments
- Recording production run quantities, performing quality control checks, and following SOPs/job orders
- Consulting with Team Lead and technical staff on questionable items
- Making machine changeovers and adjusting slit width, loading/unloading materials, packing, and transporting using carts, pallet jacks, or forklift
- Operating and driving a forklift/fork truck; some heavy lifting required (up to 65 lbs)
- Cleaning machines and parts between runs
- Operating and setting up machines for embossing holographic images and slitting film rolls
- Using computer equipment for production sheets, labels, and QA testing
- Following hazardous material handling requirements when working with solvents
- Cross training in other teams and assisting other operators as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
- Possess experience within a manufacturing environment and/or mechanical aptitude (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and good judgment
- Have basic computer skills and willingness to learn
- Show flexibility to work in other departments as assigned
- Are physically able to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 65 pounds as needed
- Can complete a respiratory clearance exam and use a respirator as needed
- Are willing to work overtime and 1–2 weekends per month
- Can comply with a 100% non-smoking campus policy
