Job DescriptionDescription:
Position Summary: The Customized Employment Manager leads and oversees customized employment services for individuals served by Community Based Services of The Moore Center. This Manager ensures individualized, person-centered job development and long-term supports that align with each participant’s strengths, interests, and support needs.
PAY: $23/hr.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Hire, mentor, train, supervise and support Employment Specialists, Direct Support Professionals and Job Coaches of the Customized Employment Program
- Build and grow community networks that lead to employment opportunities for our clients
- Assist in recruitment/hiring and training of staff for the Customized Employment Program
- Ensure accurate billing of employment contracts
- Communicate with, educate and support employers who work with individuals of The Moore Center
- Work with programs and teams to develop innovative and individualized service options for clients
- Meet with employers/families/teams as needed
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Services or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with people with disabilities in employment settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours

- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to confidently present to community members about employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to master new software
- Excellent organization and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and ensure timely follow-through
- Strong customer services skills
- Demonstrate the ability to encourage and motivate people
- Ability to think critically and make decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
