Top Technical Skills Required:
- Electromechanical design of machinery
- Design of tooling, dies, molds, jigs, or fixtures
- Proficiency in SolidWorks design environment with experience in PDM environment
Education and Experience:
- BSME preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Work Schedule and Location:
- 40 hours per week
- Onsite only in Danvers, MA
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Research, plan, design, verify, validate, and develop mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems.
- Recommend technology options or approaches for system, process, facility, or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency, or costs.
- Manage the transfer from R&D to manufacturing as needed.
- Deliver and oversee projects from design to implementation, adhering to company policies and utilizing specialized knowledge and skills.
Autonomy and Impact:
- Work independently under limited supervision to develop solutions.
- Contribute to the completion of work group objectives by building relationships and reaching consensus on assignments.
- Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations on process improvements.
Communication and Leadership:
- Communicate with senior internal and external customers and vendors to exchange information and influence decision-making.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
- Manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work products.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and experience.
- Practical knowledge of project management is a plus.
- Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
