Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from program.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing in the vehicle as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and clients regarding schedules and route changes
- Complete accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to client needs during transport
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in passenger transport, paratransit, or a related driving role preferred
- Ability to assist individuals with disabilities or special needs in a respectful and patient manner
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
